FAQ

  • How does my deposit work?

The deposit is required at the point of booking your appointment. this covers the costs involved with administration, customer service and design preparation. This deposit will be deducted from the final balance once your tattoo project is complete. The deposit is non refundable or transferable in any scenario. failure to attend your appointment or reschedule your date 48 working hours prior to your appointment results in loss of your deposit.

  • Can i view my design prior to my appointment?

I usually work on the basis that designs are viewed on the day, this way i can have the creative freedom to create you a design based on your description and my tattooing style. Any small changes can be made during your appointment no problem. I never send out any digital copies of your design for copyright reasons.

If you would like to see your design prior to your appointment, you can book an hour of my time for a design consultation, there is a fee of £70 applicable to this.

  • Can i request a "quiet/silent appointment"?

    100% yes!

I will always respect the requests of my clients and how they would like to experience their appointments. I will try my best to chat sometimes during the appointment however I do like to focus on making sure your tattoo is the best of my ability. In cases where you feel more comfortable with no “small talk” and would like to have a quiet or silent appointment you can request this on your booking form. As I do work in a open working space with other artists, you may want to bring headphones or ear plugs if you would like to experience this type of appointment. I know myself personally I like to listen to podcasts whilst i tattoo or get tattooed during long appointments.

  • Do you do touch ups?

Yes i can do touch ups.

I will do one small touch up session for free as long as the tattoo is less than 3 months old, and the tattoo aftercare has been followed. Any evidence that this is not the case and that the tattoo has not been looked after or neglected you will have to pay a set up charge.

Some areas on your body are more prone to issues with your tattoo healing, such as fingers, hands and feet, these areas may require multiple touch ups and for this reason i will not cover the cost of those touchups in any scenario.

  • Do you do cover ups or reworks?

For any coverups or reworks I will need to see that tattoo in person to discuss whether it is something that will work and will also match my tattooing style.

i don’t usually extend or rework tattoos unless they are my style of tattooing or there is more than enough space for me to showcase my own work.

please note that majority of coverups will either require partial laser removal and in every case creative freedom from the client. sizing can be a massive factor for coverups, as a rule i say the new tattoo needs to be at least 2-3 times the size of the original tattoo for it to be successful and not look like an obvious coverup. In cases where the client wants a specific design and size, they will require more laser removal.

  • Is the studio wheelchair access friendly?

Yes! we have ramp access and plenty of space to manoeuvre most wheel chairs. Please make me aware if this applies to you prior to your appointment so i can make sure your appointment runs smoothly.
